At Pathfinders College & Career Advisors we have been helping students find their best-fit career path and college for over a decade.
We started Pathfinders, then named College Liftoff, back in 2009. We were a small group of people, passionate about helping high school students find their footing on a pathway to a fulfilling career. Working with families, we quickly realized the need for assistance in the college decision-making process, especially with the rise in college costs. College fees have risen at an astronomical rate of 200%+ over the past 25 years and the trend continues. We saw how a lack of expertise in choosing an appropriate school and major costs families thousands of hard-earned dollars and time, a resource even more irreplaceable. So we tailored a service to avoid such losses and offer much-needed personalized support to students and their parents for the entire career planning, college application and securing of financial aid journey.
Over the years, we have adapted, tested, improved, and proven our services based on the feedback of our students and families. And the outcomes of the college and financial aid applications they submit under our guidance. Today, many years and many satisfied clients later, we continue to improve and update our services to ensure students get the best possible, most up-to-date assistance in their college and career journey.
To date, Pathfinders has graduated over 1500 seniors, successfully working with each student and their parent or parents on one-to-one educational, financial, and fit plans for getting the best return on investment in higher education.

Aaron has 16 years of experience in college planning. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering, which is evident in his solution-based, rigorous, and methodological approach to career and college planning. But that is where his engineering mindset ends because Aaron is a people person, with a heart as big as his knowledge of the US college system.
He works with families, specifically connecting students with dreams and helping families make solid investments in their own futures.
Fun fact: Aaron made over $40k in financial aid from attending college in his chosen path, and he is keen to share his strategies to fund your education with you.
With over 19 years in corporate America, Sue knows how the world works. She holds a degree in economics and has more than 15 years of experience as an entrepreneur. Sue is passionate about seeing young people step into the world, confident and equipped for their chosen paths.
Fun fact: Sue has not spent a single year using her degree, yet she would not change a thing if she could choose a major again. Sue loves to equip families with the knowledge on how to tackle their college and career planning journey with no regrets.
Aly holds a degree in business administration and has more than a decade of experience working with families, guiding them to make personalized decisions in their unique situations.
Fun fact: Aly moved across the country in her junior year to a new college and major. She knows the stress of making big decisions and loves helping parents ease the burden when the road ahead seems unclear.
